And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them], "O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers."

So it (the ship) sailed with them amidst the waves like mountains, and Nuh (Noah) called out to his son, who had separated himself (apart), "O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers."

And it was sailing with them amidst the waves like mountains. And NūH called out to his son, who was at an isolated place, “O my child, come on board with us, and do not be in the company of the disbelievers.”

The Ark sailed along with them amid mountain-like waves. Noah, spotting his son at a distance, called out to him: 'My son. embark with us. and do not be with the unbelievers.'

And it sailed with them amid waves like mountains, and Noah cried unto his son - and he was standing aloof - O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers.

So the Ark floated with them on the waves (towering) like mountains, and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!"

পর্বত সদৃশ তরঙ্গমালার মধ্য দিয়ে তা তাদেরকে নিয়ে বয়ে চলল। তখন নূহ তার পুত্রকে- যে তাদের থেকে আলাদা হয়ে গিয়েছিল- ডাক দিয়ে বলল, ‘হে আমার পুত্র! আমাদের সঙ্গে আরোহণ কর, কাফিরদের সঙ্গে থেক না।

আর তা পাহাড়সম ঢেউয়ের মধ্যে তাদেরকে নিয়ে চলছিল এবং নূহ তার পুত্রকে ডাক দিল, আর সে ছিল আলাদা স্থানে- ‘হে আমার পুত্র, আমাদের সাথে আরোহণ কর এবং কাফিরদের সাথে থেকো না’।

আর সেই নৌকাটি তাদেরকে নিয়ে পবর্ততুল্য তরঙ্গের মধ্যে চলতে লাগল, আর নূহ স্বীয় পুত্রকে ডাকতে লাগল এবং সে ছিল ভিন্ন স্থানে; হে আমার পুত্র! আমাদের সাথে সাওয়ার হয়ে যাও এবং কাফিরদের সাথে থেকনা।

আর পর্বত-প্রমাণ তরঙ্গের মধ্যে এটা তাদেরকে নিয়ে বয়ে চলল; নূহ তাঁর পুত্রকে, যে পৃথক ছিল, ডেকে বললেন, ‘হে আমার প্রিয় পুত্র! আমাদের সাথে আরোহণ কর এবং কাফিরদের সঙ্গী হয়ো না।’

পর্বত সদৃশ তরঙ্গের মধ্যে তা তাদেরকে নিয়ে বেয়ে চলল; নূহ্ তার পুত্রকে, যে তাদের থেকে পৃথক ছিল তাকে আহ্বান করে বলল: ‘হে আমার পুত্র! আমাদের সঙ্গে আরোহণ কর‎ এবং কাফিরদের সঙ্গী হয়ো না।’

৪২. নৌকাটি মানুষ ও অন্য সবকিছু নিয়ে যা তার মধ্যে ছিল পাহাড়সদৃশ প্রবল ঢেউয়ের মধ্যে বয়ে চলল, এমন সময় নূহ (আলাইহিস-সালাম) পিতৃত্বের আবেগে পিতা ও স্বজাতি থেকে পৃথকভাবে অবস্থানকারী কাফের ছেলেকে ডেকে বললেন, ওহে আমার পুত্র! তুমি আমাদের সাথে নৌকাটিতে আরোহণ কর; যেন তুমি ডুবে যাওয়া থেকে বেঁচে যাও, আর তুমি কাফেরদের সাথে থেকো না, ফলে ডুবে ধ্বংস হওয়ার বিপদটিই তোমার নিকট পৌঁছাবে যা তাদের নিকট পৌঁছেছে।
