হুদ: 14

And if they do not respond to you - then know that it [i.e., the Qur’ān] was revealed with the knowledge of Allāh and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you [not] be Muslims?

If then they answer you not, know then that the Revelation (this Quran) is sent down with the Knowledge of Allah and that La ilaha illa Huwa: (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! Will you then be Muslims (those who submit to Islam)?

So, if they do not respond to your call, then be assured that it has been sent down with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no god but He. So, do you submit?

Then if (your deities) do not respond to your call for help then feel assured that this Book was revealed with the knowledge of Allah, and that there is no true god but Him. Will you, then, surrender (to this truth)?

And if they answer not your prayer, then know that it is revealed only in the knowledge of Allah; and that there is no Allah save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender?

"If then they (your false gods) answer not your (call), know ye that this revelation is sent down (replete) with the knowledge of Allah, and that there is no god but He! will ye even then submit (to Islam)?"

তারা যদি তোমাদের ডাকে সাড়া না দেয় তাহলে জেনে নাও যে, আল্লাহর জ্ঞান অনুসারেই তা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। আরো জেনে রাখ যে, তিনি ছাড়া সত্যিকারের কোন ইলাহ নেই। তাহলে এখন কি তোমরা আত্মসমর্পণ করবে?

অতঃপর তারা যদি তোমাদের আহবানে সাড়া না দেয়, তাহলে জেনে রাখ, এটা আল্লাহর জ্ঞান অনুসারেই নাযিল করা হয়েছে এবং তিনি ছাড়া কোন (সত্য) ইলাহ্ নেই। অতঃপর তোমরা কি অনুগত হবে?

অতঃপর যদি তারা তোমাদের ফরমায়েশ পূর্ণ করতে না পারে তাহলে তোমরা দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস রেখ যে, এই কুরআন অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে আল্লাহরই জ্ঞান (ও ক্ষমতা) দ্বারা; আর এটাও যে, আল্লাহ ছাড়া আর কোন ইলাহ নেই। তাহলে এখন তোমরা মুসলিম হবে কি?

অতঃপর যদি তারা তোমাদের আহ্বানে সাড়া না দেয় তবে জেনে রাখ, এটা তো আল্লাহ্‌র জ্ঞান অনুসারেই নাযিল করা হয়েছে এবং তিনি ছাড়া অন্য কোনো সত্য ইলাহ্ নেই। অতঃপর তোমরা কি আত্মসমর্পণকারী (মুসলিম) হবে?

তারা যদি তোমাদের আহ্বানে সাড়া না দেয় তবে জেনে রাখ, এটা আল্লাহর ‘ইল্ম মোতাবেক অবতীর্ণ এবং তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কোন সত্যিকার মা‘বূদ নেই। তাহলে তোমরা আত্মসমর্পণকারী হবে কি?

১৪. অতএব, তোমরা তাদের নিকট থেকে যা চেয়েছ, তাদের অপারগতার কারণে তা যদি তারা না নিয়ে আসতে পারে তবে তোমরা - ওহে মুমিনগণ!- জেনে রাখ একীনের সাথে যে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তাঁর জ্ঞান অনুসারেই এ কুর‘আন তাঁর রাসূলের উপর অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, এটি বানানো নয়। আর তোমরা জেনে নাও যে, আল্লাহ ব্যতীত সত্য কোন মাবূদ নেই। সুতরাং তোমরা এ অকাট্য দলীলের পরও কি তাঁর প্রতি আনুগত্য প্রকাশ করবে না?
