আয-যুখরুফ: 33

And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount.

And were it not that all mankind would have become of one community (all disbelievers, desiring worldly life only), We would have provided for those who disbelieve in the Most Beneficent (Allah), silver roofs for their houses, and elevators (and stair-ways, etc. of silver) whereby they ascend,

Were it not that all people would become of a single creed (i.e. disbelief), We would have caused, for those who disbelieve in RaHmān, roofs of their houses to be made of silver, and the stairs as well, on which they would climb,

Were it not that all mankind would become a single community (and follow the same way), We would have provided for all those who disbelieve in the Merciful One silver roofs for their houses, and (silver) stairs on which to go up,

And were it not that mankind would have become one community, We might well have appointed, for those who disbelieve in the Beneficent, roofs of silver for their houses and stairs (of silver) whereby to mount,

And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life, We would provide, for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious, silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up,

(সত্যকে অস্বীকার ক’রে) সব এক জাতিতে পরিণত হবে এ আশঙ্কা না থাকলে যারা দয়াময় আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করে তাদেরকে অবশ্যই দিতাম তাদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্য নির্মিত ছাদ আর সিঁড়ি যাতে তারা আরোহণ করত।

যদি সব মানুষ একই জাতিতে পরিণত হয়ে যাওয়ার আশঙ্কা না থাকত, তবে যারা পরম করুণাময়ের প্রতি কুফরী করে আমি তাদের গৃহসমূহের জন্য রৌপ্যনির্মিত ছাদ ও ঊর্ধ্বে আরোহণের সিঁড়ি তৈরী করে দিতাম।

সত্য প্রত্যাখ্যানে মানুষ এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে পড়বে, এই আশংকা না থাকলে দয়াময় আল্লাহকে যারা অস্বীকার করে তাদেরকে আমি দিতাম তাদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্য নির্মিত ছাদ ও সিড়ি যাতে তারা আরোহণ করে।

আর সব মানুষ এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে পড়বে, এ আশংকা না থাকলে দয়াময়ের সাথে যারা কুফরী করে, তাদেরকে আমরা দিতাম তাদের ঘরের জন্য রৌপ্য-নির্মিত ছাদ ও সিঁড়ি যাতে তারা আরোহণ করে

যদি (সত্য অস্বীকারে) মানুষ এক উম্মতে পরিণত হয়ে পড়বে, এই আশঙ্কা না থাকতো দয়াময় আল্লাহকে যারা অস্বীকার করে, তাদেরকে আমি দিতাম তাদের গৃহের জন্য রৌপ্য নির্মিত ছাদ ও সিঁড়ি যাতে তারা আরোহণ করে।

৩৩. সকল মানুষের কুফরীতে নিমজ্জিত হওয়ার আশঙ্কা না থাকলে আমি কাফিরদের ঘরের ছাদকে রৌপ্য দিয়ে নির্মাণ করতাম এবং তাদের জন্য তাতে আরোহণের সিঁড়ি বানিয়ে দিতাম।
