21 আল-আম্বিয়া Al-Anbya · 112 আয়াত الأنبياء
আরবি
ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ
English Translations
Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!"
Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): "Indeed you [Ibrahim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!"
Then, hanging their heads they reversed their position (and replied to Ibrāhīm,) “You already knew that they do not speak.”
Then their minds were turned upside down, and they said: "You know well that they do not speak."
And they were utterly confounded, and they said: Well thou knowest that these speak not.
Then were they confounded with shame: (they said), "Thou knowest full well that these (idols) do not speak!"
বাংলা অনুবাদ
তাদের মাথা হেঁট হয়ে গেল। (তখন তারা বলল) ‘তুমি তো জানই ওরা কথা বলতে পারে না।’
অতঃপর তাদের মাথা অবনত হয়ে গেল এবং বলল, ‘তুমি তো জানই যে, এরা কথা বলতে পারে না’।
অতঃপর তাদের মাথা নত হয়ে গেল এবং তারা বললঃ তুমিতো জানই যে, এরা কথা বলেনা।
তারপর তাদের মাথা নত হয়ে গেল এবং তার বলল, ‘তুমি তো জানই যে, এরা কথা বলে না।’
অতঃপর তাদের মস্তক অবনত হয়ে গেল এবং তারা বলল: ‘তুমি তো জানই যে, এরা কথা বলতে পারে না।’
৬৫. অতঃপর তারা অস্বীকার ও হঠকারিতার দিকে ফিরে এসে বললো: হে ইব্রাহীম! তুমি নিশ্চিতভাবে জানো যে, এ মূর্তিগুলো কথা বলতে পারে না। অতএব, তুমি কিভাবে আমাদেরকে এগুলোকে জিজ্ঞাসা করার আদেশ করছো? এটিকে তারা নিজেদের প্রমাণ হিসেবে চাইলেও তা কিন্তু তাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রমাণ হয়ে দাঁড়ালো।

তারপর তাদের মাথা নত হয়ে গেল এবং তার বলল, ‘তুমি তো জানই যে, এরা কথা বলে না।’
