20 ত্বহা Taha · 135 আয়াত طه
আরবি
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ أَتَتْكَ ءَايَـٰتُنَا فَنَسِيتَهَا ۖ وَكَذَٰلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُنسَىٰ
English Translations
[Allāh] will say, "Thus did Our signs come to you, and you forgot [i.e., disregarded] them; and thus will you this Day be forgotten."
(Allah) will say: "Like this, Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (in the Hell-fire, away from Allah's Mercy)."
He will say, “In the similar manner as Our signs came to you, and you had ignored them. In the same way you will be ignored today.”
He will say: "Even so it is. Our Signs came to you and you ignored them. So shall you be ignored this Day."
He will say: So (it must be). Our revelations came unto thee but thou didst forget them. In like manner thou art forgotten this Day.
(Allah) will say: "Thus didst Thou, when Our Signs came unto thee, disregard them: so wilt thou, this day, be disregarded."
বাংলা অনুবাদ
আল্লাহ বলবেন, ‘এভাবেই তো আমার নিদর্শনসমূহ যখন তোমার কাছে এসেছিল তখন তুমি তা ভুলে গিয়েছিলে। আজকের দিনে সেভাবেই তোমাকে ভুলে যাওয়া হচ্ছে।
তিনি বলবেন, ‘এমনিভাবেই তোমার নিকট আমার নিদর্শনাবলী এসেছিল, কিন্তু তুমি তা ভুলে গিয়েছিলে এবং সেভাবেই আজ তোমাকে ভুলে যাওয়া হল’।
তিনি বলবেনঃ এ রূপেই আমার নিদর্শনাবলী তোমার নিকট এসেছিল, কিন্তু তুমিতো ভুলে গিয়েছিলে এবং সেভাবে আজ তুমিও বিস্মৃত হলে।
তিনি বলবেন, ‘এরূপই আমাদের নিদর্শনাবলী তোমার কাছে এসেছিল, কিন্তু তুমি তা ছেড়ে দিয়েছিলে এবং সেভাবে আজ তোমাকেও (জাহান্নামে) ছেড়ে রাখা হবে।’
তিনি বলবেন: ‘এরূপই আমার নিদর্শনাবলী তোমার নিকট এসেছিল, কিন্তু তুমি তা ভুলে গিয়েছিলে এবং সেভাবে আজ তোমাকেও ভুলে যাওয়া হচ্ছে।’
১২৬. আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তার উত্তরে বলেন: তুমি দুনিয়াতে এমনই করেছো। তোমার নিকট আমার আয়াতসমূহ আসলে তুমি তা থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে তা পরিত্যাগ করেছো। তেমনিভাবে আজ তোমাকেও শাস্তির মাঝে ফেলে পরিত্যাগ করা হবে।

20:123
তিনি বলবেন, ‘এরূপই আমাদের নিদর্শনাবলী তোমার কাছে এসেছিল, কিন্তু তুমি তা ছেড়ে দিয়েছিলে এবং সেভাবে আজ তোমাকেও (জাহান্নামে) ছেড়ে রাখা হবে [১]।’
[১] বিস্মৃত হওয়া ছাড়া نسيان শব্দের আরেক অর্থ আছে ছেড়ে রাখা। অর্থাৎ যেভাবে আমার হেদায়াতকে দুনিয়াতে ছেড়ে রেখেছিল তেমনি আজ তোমাদেরকে জাহান্নামে ছেড়ে রাখা হবে। [ফাতহুল কাদীর]
