আরবি
ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا۟ لِإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوا۟ لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا۟ ۗ قُلْ فَٱدْرَءُوا۟ عَنْ أَنفُسِكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
English Translations
Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful."
(They are) the ones who said about their killed brethren while they themselves sat (at home): "If only they had listened to us, they would not have been killed." Say: "Avert death from your ownselves, if you speak the truth."
Those who said about their brethren, while themselves sitting, “Had they obeyed us, they would have not been killed.” Say, “Then avert death from yourselves if you are true.”
These are the ones who stayed away, saying about their brothers: 'Had they followed us, they would not have been slain.' Say: 'If you speak the truth then avert death when it comes to you.'
Those who, while they sat at home, said of their brethren (who were fighting for the cause of Allah): If they had been guided by us they would not have been slain. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Then avert death from yourselves if ye are truthful.
(They are) the ones that say, (of their brethren slain), while they themselves sit (at ease): "If only they had listened to us they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert death from your own selves, if ye speak the truth."
বাংলা অনুবাদ
যারা বসে থেকে নিজেদের ভাইদের সম্বন্ধে বলতে লাগল, আমাদের কথামত চললে তারা নিহত হত না। বল, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে তোমাদের নিজেদের উপর থেকে মরণকে হটিয়ে দাও।
যারা তাদের ভাইদেরকে বলেছিল এবং বসেছিল, ‘যদি তারা আমাদের অনুকরণ করত, তারা নিহত হত না’। বল, ‘তাহলে তোমরা তোমাদের নিজ থেকে মৃত্যুকে দূরে সরাও যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও’।
ওরা তারা, যারা গৃহে বসে স্বীয় নিহত ভাইদের সম্বন্ধে বলেঃ যদি তারা আমাদের কথা মান্য করত তাহলে নিহত হতনা; তুমি বলঃ যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও তাহলে নিজেদেরকে মৃত্যু হতে রক্ষা কর।
যারা ঘরে বসে রইল এবং তাদের ভাইদের প্রতি বলল যে, তারা তাদের কথামত চললে নিহত হত না। তাদেরকে বলুন, ‘যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও তবে নিজেদেরকে মৃত্যু থেকে রক্ষা কর।’
যারা গৃহে বসে স্বীয় ভাইদের সম্পর্কে বলছিল, যদি তারা আমাদের কথা মান্য করত তবে নিহত হত না, তুমি বল: যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও তবে নিজেদেরকে মৃত্যু হতে রক্ষা কর।
১৬৮. যারা যুদ্ধ থেকে পিছিয়ে রয়েছে এবং যারা নিজেদের যুদ্ধাহত আত্মীয়দেরকে বলে: তারা যদি আমাদের কথা মানতো এবং যুদ্ধের জন্য বের না হতো তাহলে তাদেরকে আজ হত্যা করা হতো না। হে নবী! আপনি তাদের উত্তরে বলুন: তাহলে তোমাদের কারো মৃত্যু আসলে তোমরা তা নিজেদের থেকে প্রতিরোধ করো। যদি তোমরা নিজেদের এ দাবিতে সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাকো যে, তারা তোমাদের আনুগত্য করলে তাদেরকে আর হত্যা করা হতো না। আর তোমাদের মৃত্যু থেকে বাঁচার কারণই হলো আল্লাহর পথে জিহাদ করা থেকে বিরত থাকা।
