And [make him] a messenger to the Children of Israel, [who will say], 'Indeed I have come to you with a sign from your Lord in that I design for you from clay [that which is] like the form of a bird, then I breathe into it and it becomes a bird by permission of Allāh. And I cure the blind [from birth] and the leper, and I give life to the dead - by permission of Allāh. And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Indeed in that is a sign for you, if you are believers.

And will make him ['Iesa (Jesus)] a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah's Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.

and (shall make him) a messenger to the Children of Isrā’īl (who will say to them): “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that is, I create for you from clay something in the shape of a bird, then I blow in it, and it becomes a living bird by the will of Allah; and I cure the born-blind and the leper, and I cause the dead to become alive by the will of Allah; and I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your homes. In this there is surely a sign for you, if you are (truly) believers.

and he will be a Messenger to the Children of Israel.' (And when he came to them he said): 'I have come to you with a sign from your Lord. I will make for you from clay the likeness of a bird and then I will breathe into it and by the leave of Allah it will become a bird. I will also heal the blind and the leper, and by the leave of Allah bring the dead to life. I will also inform you of what things you eat and what you treasure up in your houses. Surely this is a sign for you if you are true believ-ers.

And will make him a messenger unto the Children of Israel, (saying): Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into it and it is a bird, by Allah's leave. I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah's leave. And I announce unto you what ye eat and what ye store up in your houses. Lo! herein verily is a portent for you, if ye are to be believers.

"And (appoint him) a messenger to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah's leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah's leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

‘আর তিনি তাকে বানী ইসরাঈলের নিকট রসূল হিসেবে প্রেরণ করবেন’। সে বলবে, ‘নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ হতে নিদর্শনসহ তোমাদের নিকট এসেছি, আমি তোমাদের জন্য মাটি দ্বারা পাখীর মত একটা কায়া গঠন করব, অতঃপর তাতে ফুঁৎকার দেব, ফলে আল্লাহর হুকুমে তা পাখি হয়ে যাবে এবং আল্লাহর হুকুমে আমি জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্ঠরোগীকে আরোগ্য করব ও আল্লাহর হুকুমে মৃতকে জীবিত করব এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব তোমাদের গৃহে তোমরা যা আহার কর এবং সঞ্চয় করে রাখ; নিশ্চয়ই এ কাজে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন রয়েছে, যদি তোমরা মু’মিন হও।’

আর বনী ইসরাঈলদের রাসূল বানাবেন (সে বলবে) ‘নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের নিকট তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছি যে, অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের জন্য কাদামাটি দিয়ে পাখির আকৃতি বানাব, অতঃপর আমি তাতে ফুঁক দেব। ফলে আল্লাহর হুকুমে সেটি পাখি হয়ে যাবে। আর আমি আল্লাহর হুকুমে জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্ঠ রুগীকে সুস্থ করব এবং মৃতকে জীবিত করব। আর তোমরা যা আহার কর এবং তোমাদের ঘরে যা জমা করে রাখ তা আমি তোমাদেরকে জানিয়ে দেব। নিশ্চয় এতে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন রয়েছে, যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও’।

আর তাকে ইসরাঈল বংশীয়গণের জন্য রাসূল করবেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমি (ঈসা) তোমাদের রবের নিকট হতে নিদর্শনসহ তোমাদের নিকট আগমন করেছি; নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাদের জন্য মাটি হতে পাখির আকার গঠন করব, অতঃপর ওর মধ্যে ফুৎকার দিব, অনন্তর আল্লাহর আদেশে ওটা পাখি হয়ে যাবে, এবং জন্মান্ধকে ও কুষ্ঠ রোগীকে নিরাময় করি এবং আল্লাহর আদেশে মৃতকে জীবিত করি এবং তোমরা যা আহার কর ও তোমরা যা স্বীয় গৃহের মধ্যে সংগ্রহ করে রাখ তদ্বিষয়ে সংবাদ দিচ্ছি - যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও তাহলে নিশ্চয়ই এতে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন রয়েছে।

আর তাকে বনী ইসরাঈলের জন্য রাসূলরূপে’ (প্রেরণ করবেন, তিনি বলবেন) ‘নিশ্চয় আমি তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের নিকট নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছি যে, অবশ্যই আমি তোমাদের জন্য কাদামাটি দ্বারা একটি পাখিসদৃশ আকৃতি গঠন করব; তারপর তাতে আমি ফুঁ দেব; ফলে আল্লাহ্‌র হুকুমে সেটা পাখি হয়ে যাবে। আর আমি আল্লাহ্‌র হুকুমে জন্মান্ধ ও কুষ্ঠ ব্যাধিগ্রস্থকে নিরাময় করব এবং মৃতকে জীবিত করব। আর তোমরা তোমাদের ঘরে যা খাও এবং মজুদ কর তা আমি তোমাদেরকে জানিয়ে দেব। নিশ্চয় এতে তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন রয়েছে যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও।’

আর তিনি হবেন বানী ইসরাঈলদের একজন রাসূল। (তিনি কওমের কাছে গিয়ে বলবেন) আমি তোমাদের রবের পক্ষ থেকে কিছু নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসেছি। (যেমন) আমি তোমাদের জন্য কাদামাটি দিয়ে পাখির আকৃতির ন্যায় তৈরী করব, তারপর তাতে ফুঁৎকার দেব, ফলে আল্লাহর নির্দেশে তা পাখিতে পরিণত হবে। আর আমি আল্লাহর নির্দেশে জন্মান্ধ ও শ্বেত রোগীকে ভাল করে দেব, মৃতকে জীবিত করব এবং তোমরা যা খাও এবং তোমাদের ঘরে যা জমা রাখ তাও বলে দেব। এসবের মধ্যে অবশ্যই তোমাদের জন্য নিদর্শন রয়েছে যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও।

৪৯. তেমনিভাবে তিনি তাঁকে বনী ইসরাঈলের রাসূল হিসেবে পাঠাবেন। তখন তিনি তাদেরকে বলবেন: নিশ্চয়ই আমি তোমাদের নিকট প্রেরিত আল্লাহর একজন রাসূল। আমি তোমাদের নিকট আমার নবুওয়াতের সত্যতার প্রমাণ নিয়ে এসেছি। সেটি হলো: আমি তোমাদের জন্য মাটি থেকে একটি পাখির অবয়বের ন্যায় তৈরি করবো। অতঃপর তাতে ফুঁ দিলে তা আল্লাহর আদেশে জীবন্ত পাখিতে রূপান্তরিত হবে। আমি জন্মান্ধকে চিকিৎসা করে চক্ষুষ্মান বানিয়ে দেবো। যার শ্বেত রোগ হয়েছে আমার দ্বারা তার চামড়া সুন্দরভাবে পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরে আসবে। তেমনিভাবে মৃতকে জীবিত করবো। আর এ সবই হবে একমাত্র আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায়। আর আমি তোমরা যা খাবে এবং যে খাদ্য তোমরা নিজেদের ঘরে লুকিয়ে রেখেছো তা সবই তোমাদেরকে বলে দেবো। এ সকল বড় বড় কাজ যা আমি তোমাদের সামনে উল্লেখ করলাম তা কোন মানুষের পক্ষে সম্ভবপর নয়। এ সবই আমি যে আল্লাহর প্রেরিত রাসূল তার জন্য সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ। যদি তোমরা আমার উপর ঈমান আনতে চাও এবং প্রমাণাদিকে বিশ্বাস করো তা হলে এগুলোই যথেষ্ট।
