আন-নিসা: 108

They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allāh, and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allāh, of what they do, encompassing.

They may hide (their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (them) from Allah, for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot by night in words that He does not approve, And Allah ever encompasses what they do.

They feel shy before people, but do not feel shy before Allah. He (Allah) is with them when they make plans at night to give a statement He (Allah) does not like. Allah encompasses whatever they do.

They can hide (their deeds) from men but they cannot hide (them) from Allah for He is with them even when they hold nightly counsels that are unpleasing to Allah. Allah encompasses all their doings.

They seek to hide from men and seek not to hide from Allah. He is with them when by night they hold discourse displeasing unto Him. Allah ever surroundeth what they do.

They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

তারা মানুষ হতে গোপন করে থাকে, কিন্তু তারা আল্লাহ হতে গোপন করতে পারে না; কেননা যে সময়ে তারা রাত্রে এমন বিষয়ে পরামর্শ করে যা আল্লাহ পছন্দ করেন না, তখনও তিনি তাদের সঙ্গেই থাকেন; আল্লাহ তাদের সমুদয় কার্যকলাপকে বেষ্টন করে আছেন।

তারা মানুষের কাছ থেকে লুকাতে চায়, আর আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে লুকাতে চায় না। অথচ তিনি তাদের সাথেই থাকেন যখন তারা রাতে এমন কথার পরিকল্পনা করে যা তিনি পছন্দ করেন না। আর আল্লাহ তারা যা করে তা পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন।

তারা মানব হতে গোপন করতে চায়, কিন্তু আল্লাহ হতে গোপন করতে পারেনা; এবং তিনি তাদের সঙ্গে রয়েছেন যখন তারা রজনীতে এমন বিষয়ে পরামর্শ করে যাতে তিনি সম্মত নন; এবং তারা যা করছে আল্লাহ তার পরিবেষ্টনকারী।

তারা মানুষ থেকে গোপন করতে চায় কিন্তু আল্লাহর থেকে গোপন করে না, অথচ তিনি তাদের সংগেই আছেন রাতে যখন তারা, তিনি যা পছন্দ করেন না– এমন বিষয়ে পরামর্শ করে এবং তারা যা করে আল্লাহ তা পরিবেষ্টন করে আছেন।

তারা মানুষ হতে গোপন করতে চায় কিন্তু আল্লাহ হতে গোপন করে না; অথচ তিনি তাদের সঙ্গেই আছেন যখন তারা রাতে এমন বিষয়ে পরামর্শ করে তিনি যা পছন্দ করেন না। এবং তারা যা করে তা সর্বতোভাবে আল্লাহ জানেন।

১০৮. তারা ভয়ে ও লজ্জায় কোন পাপে লিপ্ত হওয়ার সময় মানুষের দৃষ্টি থেকে লুকিয়ে থাকে। তবে তারা আল্লাহ থেকে কখনোই লুকোতে পারবে না। তিনি তাদের সাথেই রয়েছেন তাদেরকে বেষ্টন করে। তারা যখন আল্লাহর অপছন্দনীয় কথা যেমন: নির্দোষকে দোষীর অপবাদ দিয়ে দোষীর পক্ষপাতিত্ব করার গোপন পরিকল্পনা করে তখন তাদের কোন কিছুই তাঁর নিকট গোপন নয়। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তারা প্রকাশ্য ও অপ্রকাশ্য যা কিছু করে তা সবই বেষ্টন করে আছেন। তাঁর নিকট কোন কিছুই গোপন নয়। তাই তিনি অচিরেই তাদেরকে তাদের সকল আমলের প্রতিদান দিবেন।
