7 আল-আরাফ Al-A'raf · 206 আয়াত الأعراف
আরবি
فَلَمَّا عَتَوْا۟ عَن مَّا نُهُوا۟ عَنْهُ قُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُوا۟ قِرَدَةً خَـٰسِـِٔينَ
English Translations
So when they were insolent about that which they had been forbidden, We said to them, "Be apes, despised."
So when they exceeded the limits of what they were prohibited, We said to them: "Be you monkeys, despised and rejected." (It is a severe warning to the mankind that they should not disobey what Allah commands them to do, and be far away from what He prohibits them).
When they persisted in doing what they were forbidden from, We said to them, “Become apes debased.”
And when they persisted in pursuing that which had been forbidden We said: 'Become despised apes.'
So when they took pride in that which they had been forbidden, We said unto them: Be ye apes despised and loathed!
When in their insolence they transgressed (all) prohibitions, We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."
বাংলা অনুবাদ
যখন তারা চরম ধৃষ্টতা দেখিয়ে ঐ কাজগুলো করতে থাকল যা করতে তাদেরকে নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল, তখন তাদের উদ্দেশ্যে বললাম, ‘ঘৃণিত অপমানিত, বানরে রূপান্তরিত হয়ে যাও’।
অতঃপর যা থেকে তাদেরকে নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল তারা যখন সে বিষয়ে সীমালঙ্ঘন করল, তখন আমি তাদেরকে বললাম, ‘তোমরা নিকৃষ্ট বানর হয়ে যাও’।
অতঃপর যখন তারা বেপরোয়াভাবে নিষিদ্ধ কাজগুলি করতে থাকল তখন আমি বললামঃ তোমরা ঘৃণিত ও লাঞ্ছিত বানর হয়ে যাও।
অতঃপর তারা যখন নিষিদ্ধ কাজ বাড়াবাড়ির সাথে করতে লাগল তখন আমরা তাদেরকে বললাম, ‘ঘৃণিত বানর হও!’
তারা যখন নিষিদ্ধ কার্য ঔদ্ধত্যসহকারে করতে লাগল তখন তাদেরকে বললাম, ‘ তোমরা ঘৃণিত ও নিকৃষ্ট বানর হয়ে যাও
১৬৬. যখন তারা অহঙ্কার ও হঠকারিতাবশতঃ আল্লাহর অবাধ্যতায় সীমালঙ্ঘন করলো এবং তারা উপদেশও প্রত্যাখ্যান করলো তখন আমি তাদেরকে বললাম: হে পাপীরা! তোমরা লাঞ্ছিত বানর হয়ে যাও। তখন তারা আমার ইচ্ছা মাফিক তাই হয়ে গেলো। বস্তুতঃ আমি কোন কিছুর ইচ্ছা করলে তাকে আদেশ করে বলি: হয়ে যাও, তখন তা হয়ে যায়।

আতঃপর তারা যখন নিষিদ্ধ কাজ বাড়াবাড়ির সাথে করতে লাগল তখন আমারা তাদেরকে বললাম, ‘ঘৃণিত বানর হও!’
