7 আল-আরাফ Al-A'raf · 206 আয়াত الأعراف
আরবি
فَعَقَرُوا۟ ٱلنَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰصَـٰلِحُ ٱئْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
English Translations
So they hamstrung the she-camel and were insolent toward the command of their Lord and said, "O Ṣāliḥ, bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the messengers."
So they killed the she-camel and insolently defied the Commandment of their Lord, and said: "O Salih (Saleh)! Bring about your threats if you are indeed one of the Messengers (of Allah)."
Then they slaughtered the she-camel and defied the command of their Lord and said, “O SāliH, bring to us what you threaten us with, if you are one of the messengers.
Then they hamstrung the she-camel, disdainfuliy disobeyed the commandment of their Lord, and said: '0 Salih! Bring upon us the scourge with which you threatened us if you are truly a Messenger [of Allah].'
So they hamstrung the she-camel, and they flouted the commandment of their Lord, and they said: O Salih! Bring upon us that thou threatenest if thou art indeed of those sent (from Allah).
Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!"
বাংলা অনুবাদ
অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীটিকে মেরে ফেলল এবং তাদের প্রতিপালকের স্পষ্ট বিরোধিতা করে চলল আর বলল, ‘হে সালিহ! তুমি যদি রসূল হয়েই থাক তাহলে তা নিয়ে এসো আমাদেরকে যার ওয়াদা করছ (ভয় দেখাচ্ছ)।’
অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীকে যবেহ করল এবং তাদের রবের আদেশ অমান্য করল। আর তারা বলল, ‘হে সালিহ, তুমি আমাদেরকে যে ওয়াদা দিয়েছ, তা আমাদের কাছে নিয়ে এসো, যদি তুমি রাসূলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে থাক’।
অতঃপর তারা সেই উষ্ট্রীটিকে মেরে ফেললো এবং গর্ব ও দাম্ভিকতার সাথে তাদের রবের নির্দেশের বিরোদ্ধাচরণ করল এবং বললঃ হে সালিহ! তুমি সত্য রাসূল হয়ে থাকলে আমাদেরকে যে শাস্তির ভয় দেখাচ্ছ তা আনয়ন কর।
অতঃপর তারা সে উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করে এবং আল্লাহর আদেশ অমান্য করে এবং বলে, ‘হে সালিহ! তুমি আমাদেরকে যার ভয় দেখাচ্ছ, তা নিয়ে এস, যদি তুমি রাসূলগণের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে থাক।’
অতঃপর তারা সেই উষ্ট্রিটিকে মেরে ফেললো এবং (গর্ব ও দাম্ভিকতার সাথে) তাদের প্রতিপালকের নির্দেশের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করতে লাগলো এবং বললো হে সালেহ! তুমি সত্য রাসূল হয়ে থাকলে আমাদেরকে যে শাস্তির ভয় দেখাচ্ছ তা আনয়ন কর।
৭৭. বরং তারা অহঙ্কারবশতঃ আল্লাহর আদেশ অমান্য করে সেই উষ্ট্রীকে জবাই করলো যাকে কোন ধরনের কষ্ট দিতে আল্লাহ তাদেরকে নিষেধ করেছেন। উপরন্তু তারা সালিহ (আলাইহিস-সালাম) এর হুমকিকে সুদূর পরাহত ভেবে ঠাট্টা করে বললো: হে সালিহ! তুমি আমাদেরকে যে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তির হুমকি দিচ্ছো তা নিয়ে আসো যদি তুমি সত্যিই আল্লাহর রাসূল হয়ে থাকো।

অতঃপর তারা সে উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করে এবং আল্লাহর আদেশ অমান্য করে এবং বলে, ‘হে সালিহ! তুমি আমাদেরকে যার ভয় দেখাচ্ছ, তা নিয়ে এস, যদি তুমি রাসূলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে থাক।’
