2 আল-বাকারা Al-Baqarah · 286 আয়াত البقرة
আরবি
فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُۥدُ جَالُوتَ وَءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُۥ مِمَّا يَشَآءُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
English Translations
So they defeated them by permission of Allāh, and David killed Goliath, and Allāh gave him the kingship and wisdom [i.e., prophethood] and taught him from that which He willed. And if it were not for Allāh checking [some] people by means of others, the earth would have been corrupted, but Allāh is the possessor of bounty for the worlds.
So they routed them by Allah's Leave and Dawud (David) killed Jalut (Goliath), and Allah gave him [Dawud (David)] the kingdom [after the death of Talut (Saul) and Samuel] and Al-Hikmah (Prophethood), and taught him of that which He willed. And if Allah did not check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief. But Allah is full of Bounty to the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
So, they defeated them by the will of Allah, and Dāwūd (David) killed Jālūt, and Allah gave him the kingdom and the wisdom and taught him what He willed. Had Allah not been pushing back some people by means of others, the earth would have been spoiled. But Allah is All-Gracious to all the worlds.
Thereupon by Allah’s leave they put the unbelievers to flight, and David killed Goliath, and Allah granted him dominion and wisdom, and imparted to him the knowledge of whatever He willed. And were it not that Allah repelled some people with another, the earth would surely be overlaid with mischief. But Allah is Bounteous to the people of the world (and thus extirpates mischief).
So they routed them by Allah's leave and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of that which He willeth. And if Allah had not repelled some men by others the earth would have been corrupted. But Allah is a Lord of Kindness to (His) creatures.
By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.
বাংলা অনুবাদ
অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর হুকুমে তাদেরকে (শত্রুদেরকে) পরাজিত করল এবং দাঊদ জ্বালুতকে কতল করল এবং আল্লাহ দাঊদকে রাজ্য ও হেকমত দান করলেন এবং তাকে শিক্ষা দিলেন যা ইচ্ছে। যদি আল্লাহ মানবজাতির একদলকে অন্যদল দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তাহলে পৃথিবী বিপর্যস্ত হয়ে যেত, কিন্তু আল্লাহ সর্বজগতের প্রতি কৃপালু।
অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর হুকুমে তাদেরকে পরাজিত করল এবং দাঊদ জালূতকে হত্যা করল। আর আল্লাহ দাঊদকে রাজত্ব ও প্রজ্ঞা দান করলেন এবং তাকে যা ইচ্ছা শিক্ষা দিলেন। আর আল্লাহ যদি মানুষের কতককে কতকের দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তবে অবশ্যই যমীন ফাসাদপূর্ণ হয়ে যেত। কিন্তু আল্লাহ বিশ্ববাসীর উপর অনুগ্রহশীল।
তখন তারা আল্লাহর হুকুমে জালুতের সৈন্যদেরকে পরাজিত করল এবং দাঊদ জালুতকে হত্যা করল। এবং আল্লাহ দাউদকে রাজ্য ও প্রজ্ঞা দান করলেন এবং তাকে ইচ্ছানুযায়ী শিক্ষা দান করলেন; আর যদি আল্লাহ এক দলকে অপর দলের দ্বারা প্রদমিত না করতেন তাহলে নিশ্চয়ই পৃথিবী অশান্তিপূর্ণ হত, কিন্তু আল্লাহ বিশ্ব জগতের প্রতি অনুগ্রহকারী।
অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহ্র হুকুমে তাদেরকে (কাফেরদেরকে) পরাভূত করল এবং দাউদ জালূতকে হত্যা করলেন। আর আল্লাহ্ তাকে রাজত্ব ও হেকমত দান করলেন এবং যা তিনি ইচ্ছা করলেন তা তাকে শিক্ষা দিলেন। আর আল্লাহ্ যদি মানুষের এক দলকে অন্য দল দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন তবে পৃথিবী বিপর্যস্ত হয়ে যেত। কিন্তু আল্লাহ্ সৃষ্টিকুলের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল।
তখন তারা আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় যালূতের সৈন্যদেরকে পরাজিত করল এবং দাঊদ যালূতকে নিহত করল এবং আল্লাহ দাঊদকে রাজত্ব ও প্রজ্ঞা দান করলেন এবং তাকে ইচ্ছানুযায়ী শিক্ষা দান করলেন। আর যদি আল্লাহ মানুষের এক দলকে অন্য দল দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তাহলে অবশ্যই পৃথিবী বিশৃংখলাপূর্ণ হত। আর আল্লাহ বিশ্বজগতের ওপর অনুগ্রহশীল।
২৫১. অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর ইচ্ছায় শত্রু পক্ষকে পরাজিত করে এবং দাঊদ তাদের সেনাপতি জালূতকে হত্যা করে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তাকে ক্ষমতা ও নবুওয়াত দিয়েছেন এবং তাকে তাঁর ইচ্ছা মতো হরেক রকমের জ্ঞান দিয়েছেন। তিনি তাঁর মধ্যে দুনিয়া ও আখিরাতে উপকারে আসে এমন সব কিছুই একত্রিত করেছেন। যদি আল্লাহ তা‘আলার এ নিয়ম না থাকতো যে, তিনি একদলকে দিয়ে অন্য দলের ফাসাদ প্রতিহত করে থাকেন তাহলে ফাসাদ সৃষ্টিকারীদের দাপটে পুরো পৃথিবীই নষ্ট হয়ে যেতো। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তাঁর সকল সৃষ্টির প্রতিই দয়াশীল।

অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহ্র হুকুমে তাদেরকে (কাফেরদেরকে) পরাভূত করল এবং দাউদ জালূতকে হত্যা করলেন। আর আল্লাহ্ তাকে রাজত্ব ও হেকমত দান করলেন এবং যা তিনি ইচ্ছা করলেন তা তাকে শিক্ষা দিলেন। আর আল্লাহ্ যদি মানুষের এক দলকে অন্য দল দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন তবে পৃথিবী বিপর্যস্ত হয়ে যেত। কিন্তু আল্লাহ্ সৃষ্টিকুলের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল।
