2 আল-বাকারা Al-Baqarah · 286 আয়াত البقرة
আরবি
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ نَزَّلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَفِى شِقَاقٍۭ بَعِيدٍ
English Translations
That is [deserved by them] because Allāh has sent down the Book in truth. And indeed, those who differ over the Book are in extreme dissension.
That is because Allah has sent down the Book (the Quran) in truth. And verily, those who disputed as regards the Book are far away in opposition.
All that is because Allah revealed the Book with the truth. Yet, those who have opted for dissension about the Book are in extreme division (among themselves)
This is so because Allah revealed the Book with the Truth, but those who disagreed concerning the Book veered far away from the Truth.
That is because Allah hath revealed the Scripture with the truth. Lo! those who find (a cause of) disagreement in the Scripture are in open schism.
(Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose).
বাংলা অনুবাদ
(তাদের প্রতি শাস্তির হুকুম দেয়া হয়েছে) এজন্য যে, আল্লাহ্ই কিতাবকে সত্যরূপে নাযিল করেছেন আর যারা কিতাব সম্বন্ধে মতভেদ করেছে তারা চরম মতভেদে পড়ে আছে।
তা এই কারণে যে, আল্লাহ যথার্থরূপে কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন। আর নিশ্চয় যারা কিতাবে মতবিরোধ করেছে, তারা অবশ্যই সুদূর মতানৈক্যে রয়েছে।
এ জন্যই আল্লাহ সত্যসহ গ্রন্থ অবতীর্ণ করেছেন এবং যারা গ্রন্থ সম্বন্ধে বিরোধ করে বাস্তবিকই তারা বিরুদ্ধাচরণে সুদূরগামী।
সেটা এ জন্যই যে, আল্লাহ্ সত্যসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন আর যারা কিতাব সম্বন্ধে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করেছে অবশ্যই তারা সুদূর বিবাদে লিপ্ত।
এটা এ কারণে যে আল্লাহ সত্যসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন আর যারা গ্রন্থ সম্বন্ধে মতভেদ করে মূলত তারাই বিরুদ্ধাচরণে সুদূরগামী।
১৭৬. জ্ঞান ও হিদায়েত লুকানোর উক্ত প্রতিদান এ জন্যই যে, বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তা‘আলা তাঁর ঐশী গ্রস্থগুলো সত্য সহকারে নাযিল করেছেন। আর এর দাবী হলো সেগুলোকে প্রকাশ করা; লুকিয়ে না রাখা। নিশ্চয়ই যারা আল্লাহর ঐশী কিতাবসমূহের ব্যাপারে ভিন্নতা দেখিয়েছে তথা সেগুলোর কোনটির উপর ঈমান এনেছে আর কোনটিকে লুকিয়ে রেখেছে তারা সত্য ও সঠিক থেকে অনেক দূরে।

সেটা এ জন্যই যে, আল্লাহ্ সত্যসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন আর যারা কিতাব সম্বন্ধে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করেছে অবশ্যই তারা সুদূর বিবাদে লিপ্ত।
