2 আল-বাকারা Al-Baqarah · 286 আয়াত البقرة
আরবি
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
English Translations
But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."
And of them there are some who say: "Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!"
Yet there is another among them who says: “Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of Fire.”
There are others who say: “Our Lord, grant us what is good in this world and what is good in the World to Come, and protect us from the chastisement of the Fire.”
And of them (also) is he who saith: "Our Lord! Give unto us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and guard us from the doom of Fire."
And there are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and defend us from the torment of the Fire!"
বাংলা অনুবাদ
লোকেদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক এমন আছে, যারা বলে থাকে, হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমাদেরকে দুনিয়াতেও কল্যাণ দাও এবং আখেরাতেও কল্যাণ দাও এবং আমাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আযাব হতে রক্ষা কর।
আর তাদের মধ্যে এমনও আছে, যারা বলে, হে আমাদের রব, আমাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে কল্যাণ দিন। আর আখিরাতেও কল্যাণ দিন এবং আমাদেরকে আগুনের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন।
আর তাদের মধ্যে কেহ কেহ বলে - হে আমাদের রাব্ব! আমাদেরকে ইহকালে কল্যাণ দান করুন ও আখিরাতে কল্যাণ দান করুন এবং জাহান্নামের শাস্তি হতে আমাদেরকে রক্ষা করুন।
আর তাদের মধ্যে যারা বলে, ‘হে আমাদের রব! আমাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে কল্যাণ দিন এবং আখেরাতেও কল্যাণ দিন এবং আমাদেরকে আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করুন।’
আর মানুষের মধ্যে এমন লোকও আছে যারা বলে, হে আমাদের রব! আমাদেরকে দুনিয়াতেও কল্যাণ দান করুন এবং পরকালেও কল্যাণ দান করুন এবং জাহান্নামের আযাব হতে আমাদেরকে রক্ষা করুন।
২০১. মানুষের আরেকটি দল হলো আল্লাহ ও পরকালে বিশ্বাসী। তাই তারা নিজেদের প্রভুর নিকট দুনিয়ার নিয়ামত ও নেক আমল কামনা করে। তেমনিভাবে তারা আল্লাহর নিকট জান্নাত পাওয়ার সফলতা এবং জাহান্নামের শাস্তি থেকে মুক্তি কামনা করে।

আর তাদের মধ্যে যারা বলে, ‘হে আমাদের রব! আমাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে কল্যাণ দিন এবং আখেরাতেও কল্যাণ দিন এবং আমাদেরকে আগুনের শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করুন [১]”।
[১] আবদুল্লাহ ইবনে সায়েব রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বলেন, ‘আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লামকে কাবার দুই রুকনের মাঝখানে এ দোআ বলতে শুনেছি’। [আবুদাউদ ১৮৯২]
আনাস ইবনে মালিক রাদিয়াল্লাহু আনহু বলেন, ‘রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম প্রায়ই এ দোআ করতেন। [বুখারী ৪৫২২, মুসলিম: ২৬৯০]
